Our tracking/trailing courses are designed to fit the particular requirements of the requesting agency or department. Our tracking course is more suited for city or urban K9 deployment. Our trailing course is more suited for suburban and rural K9 deployment. Our extensive experience in the use of tracking and trailing dogs in law enforcement and search and rescue has taught us that K9 teams need to be trained specifically for the type tracking or trailing to be done. Hard surface tracking is the most difficult tracking task for a dog to master and specific training is required to develop this ability in the dog. We train all breeds and recommend that breed selection be based on the tracking or trailing work to be performed.
