Detection K9 Handler Course

This 3 or 5-week course is designed to prepare the student with no prior law enforcement training or experience for the role of a Detection K9 Handler. The course provides the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills necessary to become a narcotics, explosives, or cadaver detection K9 handler.

This course is suited for the student who desires to obtain a position as a law enforcement or civilian detection K9 handler. Completion of this course will equip the student with experience and skills that will significantly enhance their ability to obtain a position as a law enforcement or civilain detection K9 handler.
